Colette Bates, known as TeyaLauray was born on February 19, in Compton California. After college, taking care of her grand parents and being engaged twice, she decided moved to Atlanta to start fresh with her music career.  A major part in her life has always been to make her grandmother proud. TeyaLauray has since branched out to become a successful designer, singer  and businesswoman of the 21st Century.
